Contractors will be clearing side vegetation from part of Huish Lane at the Wyke end, this coming Thursday, 10 December. As this involves machinery and it is a narrow lane, please could dog walkers and riders be aware that there may be delays while using the lane on 10 December. Or if possible, give it a miss for one day?
The work is being funded by Mendip Bridleways & Byways Association and Somerset County Council and should provide better conditions for all users. The Ladywell end was cleared by the same contractors about ten days ago. Hopefully this clearance will add to the enjoyment for everyone when using the lane.
