Bruton Food Larder is currently based at the Unionist Hall and is open every Friday. The food and household products it supplies are thanks to Morrisons (Wincanton), local businesses such as @thechapel (bread) and Hunter French and Bruton Wholefoods (drop off points) and Sexey’s School House collections. Many local people and groups have also been making donations of food and household products.

The food provided does not require refrigeration and sometimes includes generous donations from allotment holders. Collections can be made from the Unionist Hall between 8.30 and 9.45am. For those unable to get to the hall, food drops are between 10.00 and 11.15am.

The Food Larder is not means tested but is intended for those struggling with the cost of living or those that cannot work because of disability or health issues.
