Somerset County Council (SCC) are in the process of drafting a Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP), in collaboration with the County’s bus and community transport operators. WSP are supporting SCC through the process, including the public engagement. They will collate and analyse the responses to this survey. Please note that the responses you provide will only be used for the purpose of shaping the content of the BSIP

This is in line with the Government’s new National Bus Strategy – Bus Back Better, which requires all English local transport authorities to work with local bus operators to come up with achievable plans for improving their local services and set out what additional Government investment is needed to encourage more people to use public transport.

As an important part of the plan, we wish to find out what you think would improve local bus services and what would make you use public transport more. We are keen to hear from people who already use public transport and those who do not.

Participation in this survey by persons under 16 years of age will require the permission from a parent or guardian.
