Does this look like a safe walking route for a child?
Bruton Town Council and the Primary School have created a new group to develop plans for safer pedestrian access to the school. For many parents and children, the school run is one of the most stressful times of the day. We know that most children who can do so walk to school. We want this to become a safer and more pleasant experience for all. The group, which will include Cllrs Anna Groskop and Lucy Trimnell, police, Somerset Highways, parent representatives, Community Kids and a local resident, hopes to make its recommendations in the first half 2022.
