We have been asked by Bidwells (Planners for the proposed works at the Prickly Pear Public House) to advertise a meeting they have planned on their behalf. We are informed that letters of invitation will be sent to affected residents of the High Street and Upper Backway this week and this is the text of a letter received by the Council:
“We’d like to invite you to another meeting to discuss what measures we are taking to manage noise when the newly refurbished Public House opens in 2024 and to answer any questions you may have. The meeting will be at Bruton Community Hall on 17 July 2023 starting at 19.00.
The meeting will be attended by the planning agent (Bidwells), developer agent, the manager of the Prickly Pear and our noise consultant. The meeting will focus on noise management measures, but we
would be pleased to answer any other question you have about the proposed works”.
Please note, this is not a Bruton Town Council meeting.
