Following recent evidence of a fire having been lit and excessive littering at Jubilee Park, we would like to draw your attention to the following:

Jubilee Park is a much-loved green space for the whole community, and with the recent hot weather, the risk of fire spreading quickly is much higher. Even a small fire, disposable barbecue, cigarette end, or discarded glass bottle can cause serious damage to grass, trees, wildlife habitats, play areas, and nearby properties.
Please help us reduce the risk of wildfires by:
  • Not lighting fires or barbecues in the park
  • Taking all litter home or using the bins provided
  • Disposing of cigarettes safely
  • Keeping glass bottles out of the grass and taking them home for recycling
  • Reporting any signs of fire or unsafe behaviour
We want everyone to continue enjoying Jubilee Park safely and responsibly. Thank you for helping us look after this special community space.
