Bruton Town Council are pleased to be upgrading the floodlights at the Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) to a new, more energy-efficient low watt lighting system.
To allow the work to take place, the MUGA will be closed from Wednesday 14 October. Once installed, the floodlights will be operated by a token meter, ensuring they are only switched on when the facility is being used. The lights will also automatically be unavailable after 10pm, helping to reduce unnecessary energy use and minimise impact on the environment.
