New Town Ranger Contractor Appointed

Bruton Town Council is pleased to announce that a contractor has been successfully appointed to take on the new Town Ranger role.

The Town Ranger will provide practical support to help keep Bruton clean, tidy and welcoming, with a particular focus on the town centre and nearby public areas. This new role reflects the Council’s commitment to maintaining pride in our town and supporting a pleasant environment for residents, businesses and visitors alike.

The Town Ranger will help with a range of day-to-day tasks such as litter picking, sweeping, weeding, small tidying jobs, and reporting issues that need attention. Their work will help enhance the appearance of key areas in and around the town centre, while also supporting the care of public spaces managed by the Council.

Residents may see the Town Ranger out and about in the coming weeks as the role becomes established. The Council hopes this visible and practical presence will make a positive difference and help promote a shared sense of care for Bruton.

Bruton Town Council would like to thank everyone who supported the process of creating this new role and looks forward to working with the Town Ranger to help keep Bruton looking its best.

Together, we can continue to take pride in our town.
