Pleased be advised of the following communication from Somerset Council:
Urgent patching works will be taking place on the A371 Station Road, Castle Cary due to the condition of the carriageway. The location is between the junctions with the B3153 and B3152.
The works will only take a few hours on one day. However, due to weather and the possibility of our resource being needed elsewhere in the county as a result, works will take place on either 17 or 18 February between the hours of 09.30-15.30 only.
While the road is closed there will be a signed diversion in place.
We have asked that signs be placed out on the highway in advance to warn the travelling public. We would also ask that you assist in spreading awareness of these much needed, short duration works.
